Some odds and ends…

This is the first ever quilt I made – it took me about 10 years, and it was all stitched by hand – no machines except for the edges at the end. It’s made of a mixture of velvet, faux-velvet, faux-suede and what could possibly be described as velour…  It’s uber-warm and graces my bed at home – a true labour of love this one!

This one is a felted wine bottle cover – I don’t know why you’d need one, but it was the first thing I learned to knit in the round… (Thanks to the Sheep Shop for teaching me!)

And I’m currently knitting an Owl tea cosy from a Knit Kit someone gave me for Christmas – fun!
