Various things I did here and there, out and about, while on my funemployment break…
Firstly, when I arrived at Heathrow, some essential M&S shopping…. Mostly wine and cheese…
Back in my beloved, messy, disorganised bedroom…
Catching up on all my POST!
I do love opening exciting boxes!
Loadsa presents!
A lovely friend made me this and posted it to me too!
This unbelievably awesome pencil case…
Grown men playing with race cars in the shopping mall…
Bryn gets cuddles with Tiggy…
Visiting a lavender farm with another good friend and her tiny new baby…
Failed attempt at the jump shot when my flip-flop flew off!
That’s better!
New baby cuddles are the best!
Another fun night out in Colchester catching up with the Old Heath Road Crew!
We managed to stay up partying til 5am – something I haven’t achieved in years! Here we are in the garden as the sun came up…
Later that morning, the survivors photo…
Applying for international jobs often involves translating the online application page into English, with some interesting results…
Hanging out in Sudbury with this dude… Possibly my oldest friend?
A little family holiday to Amble in Northumbria – a rather classic British wet and windy beach holiday! Lots of fun with sandcastles (and real castles) with grandparents, aunts, uncles, mums and nieces and nephews (or niblings as I prefer to call them…)
Here we are at Amble beach…
And the rather striking Warkworth Castle on a very cold and rainy grey day
The good thing about small children is that they don’t mind the rain, as it means they can stomp about in puddles!
Another beach, somewhere near Warkworth
Birthday cupcakes for mum!
A little trip to Edinburgh to see another old friend…
Birthday balloons!
We discovered Pimms flavoured cider – it sounds disgusting but was actually quite nice! Although possibly because we were quite hungover at the time…
Enjoying the fact that I can lie in bed as long as I feel like it!
100% for finding/making the fun everywhere you go.
Thanks Sarah! I do my best. 🙂
