On a recent trip to Nairobi National Park I had a lot of fun spotting giraffes, and playing hide and seek with them…
This was the first one I spotted, and he was VERY good at hiding, right in the middle of the trees.
This one was slightly less good at hiding.
“Teeheehee. She’ll never spot me here!”
“Hmmm, it’s gone a bit quiet, I’ll just pop my head up and see if she’s still looking…”
“Oh damn, there she is. I think she might have seen me.”
“Teeheehee, she’ll never find me here, crouched in the exact same tree – she’ll never think to look there twice!”
“Oh, errr, actually my neck’s a bit stiff. I’ll just stretch a bit.”
“Oh damn, She’s found me again.”
“Hmmm, I’ll just move over here and see if she can still see me…”
“Maybe, right about here?”
“If I just bend down a bit…”
“Yup, that’s better, I’m completely camouflaged now…”
This one was sneaking up behind me, playing Grandma’s Footsteps…
“Hmmm, maybe if I stand completely still, she won’t see me…”
This one was hilariously bad at hiding.
“Teeheehee, she’ll never spot me here. I can’t see her, so she definitely can’t see me.”
“Look how well hidden I am, she’ll never find me here….teeheehee”
“Er, oh, there she is. Damn. I think she’s seen me.”
So. Much. Fun!
