I decided to make a quilt for my nephew’s 18th birthday. He’s the world’s biggest Arsenal fan so the theme was easy.

First I sourced a load of second-hand shirts off Ebay….

And cut them up…

Then the sewing fun begins!

I’m very pleased with this one – possibly my most professional quilt yet, though it’s been really hard not to send it to him early as I made it far too early for his actual birthday!
